2000 PHANTOM

With great humility, Harrill and the Phantom crew went back to the drawing board to recover from the Gauntlet. With the input and help from racers, dealers, and distributors alike, testing became the highest priority during the 1999 season.

In early 2000, the Nemesis chassis was finalized and released. All efforts were now focused on regaining customer confidence. This proved to be a two-year process, but again, reaped great rewards in the end. During the 2002 and 2003 seasons, the Nemesis gained popularity and went on to be one of the highest selling chassis PRC has ever produced.

Similar to the days of the Stalker, backorder lists were pages and pages long. Customers waited for months to get their hands on a Nemesis. In the end, the Nemesis proved to be an equally effective chassis on both dirt and asphalt.

The Nemesis went on to win a record seven Manufacturer’s Championships between 2000 and 2003.
