After nearly two years of intensive research, development, and on-track testing, the Phantom Tricon has arrived. Improving upon some of Phantom’s most proven and decorated chassis designs was no easy task—but after countless prototypes, test weekends, and hours of engineering refinement, our team discovered the perfect blend of tubing composition, geometry, and balance to deliver exceptional roll speed, turnability, and consistency.

Inspired by two of PRC’s most successful karts, the Tricon’s design brings together the best of both worlds:

“Turns like a Triton, rolls like a Recon.”

The Tricon delivers an unmatched combination of agility and speed, while introducing expanded cassette adjustability. Racers can now fine-tune their setup by leading the rear axle or adjusting the wheelbase to tailor the kart’s turning characteristics. A major innovation for the Tricon is the optional X1 Mega Mount—a state-of-the-art motor mount system featuring a welded plate on the frame rails that replaces traditional “butterfly” clamps. This 12-degree solid mount bolts directly to the chassis plate and accommodates all popular stock-style engines, including Clone, Ducar, and Predator. (The X1 is optional—traditional butterfly mounts remain compatible.)

Every detail of the Tricon reflects racer input and real-world performance feedback. Customer-requested features include:

• Standalone 1” square front seat slides

• ¾” traditional nerf bars

• Throttle bracket mounted to the frame (not the floor pan)

• Full-length rear floor pan

• New front bumper design to reduce chassis bind

 

Each Tricon chassis is hand-assembled in our facility and available in either Base or Elite Edition packages.
